Brussels, Belgium – July 7, 2022 – KevlinX is pleased to announce that it is a founding member of the Belgian Digital Infrastructure Association, the industry body which promotes its members and all organisations within the digital infrastructure ecosystem in Belgium.
Digital infrastructure plays a fundamental role in our society and digital economy. Everything that happens online can be traced back to the digital infrastructure that consists of connectivity, data centers and cloud.
The digital infrastructure in Belgium supports a wide range of activities in government, business and society. They form an important role in our national critical digital infrastructure. In doing so, they contribute to the resilience of the Belgian economy and reduce energy consumption by concentrating IT in professional data centers and in leading Cloud Providers.
The association’s board includes Barro Luitjes, KevlinX Chief Executive Officer, who said: “We want to put Belgium on the map as a location country, with its central location in Europe, Belgium is the ideal base. The Belgian digital sector has a huge growth potential however it is important that the sector and the associated ecosystem are properly highlighted.”
